Fair amount of action

So far this month now that April is drawing to a close we have had 3 showings of the house since it went on the market 3 weeks ago. Perhaps we are meant to stay here because God is just blessing us incredibly increasing our occupancy more than 86% in our first quarter.

In a way it really has been very interesting as we have met all kinds of people. Many from Egypt, the Orient and Europe have stayed here. We just can't get over the diversity of the people who come here to stay in our B&B. We get a kick out of them sitting at the breakfast table, chatting and meeting new friends.
We have been toying with the plans of writing a book and after having owned a successful tearoom and bed & breakfast for more than 11 years we have collected a lot of material.

We will probably miss the B&B, I know that it will be different for me having been busy adding en-suites and building the loft rooms from one large empty room. You could see the nails that were in the roof boards that held the shingles. I know that I will have so much time left over that I'll have to pick up another hobby. I should think that photography or reading would do it.

April 2005 House is for sale.

Today, the 11th our house has been for sale approximately two weeks. A week ago we had the photographer here to create a preliminary virual tour and we should have it up and running very soon. We plan on putting a link on our own website and also on our bbcanada website.
Our listing agent has had at least two inquiries from teachers overseas planning on returning to Canada to start up a B&B, great stuff.
We do hope that we will be able to sell the business as an turnkey operation Bed & Breakfast.

Our plans are to travel for a couple of years in a 5th wheel RV we have been looking at. We will go south in the winter and stay for a while to see if it will help to heal Ruth of her fibromyalgia and to eat some of our favourite food, fish that is.

The trailer unit we have our eye on is a Titanium 39' we have looked at a few different models but have not made our mind yet. We will also need to buy a 3/4 to truck to pull the unit, so, we'll just see what happens, the house has not been sold
yet.
